Patient Education and Adherence Programs

ICS utilizes highly experienced Clinical Specialists including registered nurses and dieticians to make outbound calls educating patients on their therapy, drug mechanism of action, and any tips on mitigating any potential side effects. Our Clinical Specialists represent our manufacturer partners, at a fraction of the cost of bringing on full time registered nurses and implementing the systems and controls to manage a clinical compliance and persistency program. Our Specialists will also make follow-up calls to promote compliance and adherence to prescribed therapy. This may include reminding patients of compliance techniques, their next doctor appointment, or tips to mitigate any potential barriers to therapy adherence including travel or caregiver coordination. ICS can customize your compliance and persistency program to each patient by assessing patient non-compliance programs through risk assessment techniques. Our Specialists also take inbound calls answering any questions the patient, physician, or caregivers may have and are able to provide 24/7 coverage of your support line.

Patient Advocacy and Case Management

A key component to success in compliance programs is the ability to connect with the patient and provide continuous feedback to their physician. ICS keeps caregivers and providers involved in the patient’s therapy by providing updates each time a call occurs by an ICS Clinical Specialist.

ICS goes a step further than the standard clinical program by not only pairing a Clinical Specialist to a specific patient; but also pairing Clinical Specialists regionally to physician offices and your sales force to develop trust and a strong relationship at the prescriber level. This dedication to creating a strong connection between the physician, patient, and your organization is what sets ICS apart and has led to the success of our compliance and persistency programs in the areas of Oncology, Neurology, Immunology, Cardiology, Diabetes, Renal, and Crohns Disease among others.

Adverse Event Support Services

As a component of the clinical compliance program, ICS’ call center registered nurses provide the following adverse event support services:

  • Completion of client-approved adverse event forms
  • Transmission of forms to required parties including the FDA
