ICS’s parent company AmerisourceBergen becomes Cencora

Dear Manufacturer Partner,

Earlier this year, we let you know about AmerisourceBergen’s intent to change its name to Cencora.

As of Wednesday August 30, ICS’s parent company AmerisourceBergen officially became Cencora. As such, ICS, along with other businesses in the AmerisourceBergen portfolio, is now part of the Cencora family.

While our parent company name has changed to Cencora, the ICS name will remain in use, and in due course the logo will change to incorporate Cencora. There will be no change in how we support you.

Aligning under a single global brand enables us to leverage the expertise of our parts to the benefit of you, our valued manufacturer client, as well as our provider customers, their patients, and our team members, to improve the lives of people and animals everywhere.

What does this mean?

Please be assured that nothing changes about the way we do business and interact with you today. We are transitioning to our new brand in a phased approach, and after this initial August 30 parent entity launch, our business unit branding and processes remain unchanged until we are ready to announce any new path forward.

Our ongoing commitment.

Our goal is to make it easier to do business with us, and we believe we can better achieve this as a fully integrated organization. We are developing a thoughtful and detailed roadmap to that future, and if it results in any changes, we will inform you and work closely with you.

What to expect next.

The change across our entire company will happen gradually. Over the next year and beyond we will begin adopting the new name across our different businesses and adjust operations as needed. And of course, we’ll keep you informed every step of the way.
