Our Purpose and Guiding Principles in Action

Each Distribution Center hosts monthly events designed to bring associates together, from quarterly cookouts and March Madness basketball shoot outs to themed lunches where associates bring in fare to share. For example, a "Pie in the Face" and dunking booth event raised nearly $1,200 for organizations who take care of kids with serious and sometimes terminal illnesses. Associates in Frisco proudly donated back-to-school supplies to a local school district.

These are just a few examples among many of how our teams are already living our Purpose.  

These types of events demonstrate our philosophy and commitment to associate engagement and appreciation. "I am very proud of our operational performance," said Stan Byrum, Vice President of Specialty Distribution. "A big part of our success is the positive working environment, the dedication and pride of our associates, and very strong internal communications. Even with technological advancements, a human is going to touch every process of the operational flow, and we have to rely on our teams to perform at a very high level."
